Hime and Walter, they were always there for us.

Hiro and Walti

​Hiro mentioned Walti couple of times today. 

He talked about how Everyone didn’t want to play with T and asked if T wanted to play with Walter. 

I said no, Walti didn’t want to play with T because he is mean. But Walti and Hime played sometimes and Walti also played with Mieszky sometimes. 

After we got home Hiro said that Walti had died and that it made him cry. 

I was surprised he understood. He didn’t want to talk to Walti in front of his grave but I guess Hiro was processing it his own way. 

Walti will always be your Guardian Angel , Hiro! 

We Saw Kira

Zum likes quiet dogs. She loves Kira because Kira is quiet and just puts her big tummy next to your leg.
I see many similarities between Huskies and our (probably) Main Coon Cross Thor and Mieszky.
They don't always listen to you (chooses to ignore you sometimes)
and they are just happy sitting by your side , enjoying the silence.
Even though T is s big cat, he is nowhere near as big as a Husky! Mieszky's coloring is similar to Huskies so thats why Zum feels closer to Kira!

Kira comes to say hi to us, then after a while gets bored and goes in the back garden.(ver catlike behavior!)

but when Hiro started crying and Kira comes over, worried. Very similar to our black cats!

I ask Hiro, "Do you like dogs or Huskies?"
Hiro says "I like My Walti." Well, Walti is not a dog but I guess Guardian Angel Cat will always make the cut!

Hiro's Guardians in the Garden

Hiro loves to play in the garden. I noticed that he has Garden Guardians that is different from his usual Guardian Cats (Walter and Hime).

Thor and Hime come sit by him while he's playing with rocks or putting things in the water. One thing that T is (though he is a pain sometimes!) , he is aware that he needs to be kind to kids and babies! And Hime, always fussed and looked after my kids!

Hiro's First Cat Name

Was ..... T!!!

well, he calls him "TT", its the easiest, isn't it? He was almost 1 when he started saying that. Then it was Hime

and Miesky (He says Mie-cky, but Mieszky don't mind.) Then it was Walti! (as in Walti Balti!) I was surprised Hime was the second name that he said, but I guess he was already 1 and he heard Hime's name a lot. He would also say "Neko", as he understood about cats already!!

Great Day for Mama

Hiro has been talking very well this month, it is like he went from 5 to 80 in a month (From Grunting to using couple of words)!

He told on his sister, Bean chan! She would not share the french toast with him, so he came and said to me, "Bean chan dozo" (Zumi chan won't offer to me)! I can totally get what he wanted to communicate to me! He was bouncing on the couch next to me (he is not supposed to!) and he came and hugged my knee. He said , "Mama--- Daisuki!" I was really surprised ! He also put his cheek next to me and kissed me. Wow. He started kissing us and the cats before 1 , but I didn't know if he knew what that was. It is great to be able to communicate better with this little guy!

We Are Going Away, Hime.

 Zum has been very excited about our trip to London. 

She told Hime about it, and she said

“I’m going to miss you, will you sleep with me?” 

And I walked into Zum’s room and this is what I see:

Hiro was very impressed with the train! 

I’m impressed with Hiro’s Bear Ears!! So cute!!

Good Things Happen When You Wear Shoes !

For a couple of months I was trying to get Hiro to Wear shoes! 

At first he’d cry and refuse to take steps and sat down (in the rain) to take them off. Then he started to stand with them on but refuse to walk in them. 

Surprisingly Hiro’s nature to want to put things where they’re supposed to (he is very observant from less than 1year old) , he would point at the shoes when we are about to go outside. 

Couple of days ago he started to walk in the shoes! 

Now we can all go outside together! 

I gave him a carrot flower. He carried it around ,isn’t he so cute?!

 T came over to rub against Hiro. Trying to score Brownie Points with Hiro! 

I said to Hiro, “ say to T , ‘you’re a good boy!’ “ , Hiro bends down and gives T a kiss on his head! Hahaha 

Hime Huggies from Hiro

I knew Hiro was trying to stroke the cats sometimes.
Today we were sitting on the sofa and Hime came over , and Hiro went up to her and rubbed his forehead on hers. She was a bit surprised and gave him a quick Huggie. Hiro then walked over (he can walk!🏃🏻) to T who was sitting on top of zum’s table, and gave him Huggies on his head too !

Favorite for Hiro

Hiro has been surrounded by our cats and sister since ... basically since he was born!


He has his Guardian Angels, Hime and Walter,

 but he seems to like Mieszky a lot.
Mieszky is patient, and quiet.
He sits quietly next to me and Hiro.

Hiro like to touch his fuzzy fur. Mieszky of course, don't mind being the Sweetest Cat in the World.

When Hiro tries to stroke him Mieszky leans in!
"Please scratch my chin! And  tell me what a good boy I am!"



Yes you are, Mieszk! Thank you for being sweet to my kids too !

You are not alone

Hiro’s favorite seems to be Walter .

When Walter come to say hello , Hiro smiles and touches his fluffy fur. 

Walter doesn’t like to stay on the bed with us so eventually jumps off but it’s very nice of him to drop by!

 Walter comes and sits next to him when he’s crying .

Walter doesn’t like loud noises so he hides when zum’s friends come over. 

But when my kids are crying it seems to be a different story . 

I worry about Hiro , says Walter.

And his big sister’s here too !

Why Don’t You Try Kneading?

Walter has turned into a sweet caring cat.

He comes too if Hiro is crying to sit next to him when he’s crying. 

He’ll come sit and then he would start kneading and purring.

He worries about my kids crying and he says 

“It’s ok, little one ... Kneading always make everything ok. “

So he will sit next to them and start kneading.
Yes, it is a good advice, Walter the Wise.
