10 Years Old Today !

Big Baby Tor is 10 today! I really thought he would be a Baby forever, but he really is 1 year older than Zum. He still wines like a baby and has a cute high pitched voice. We have been with him for 6 1/2 years. It is entertaining when T is around! Happy Birthday Big Baby!

Very Coneniently Zum is Bigger

"I will sit on her now , Zum is bit wide enough for me to sit on!" says Big Baby. well, he is her cat after all.

"Is T to heavy? He has been getting fat lately!" I'm a bit wirried he is squashing her leg!! "He is a little heavy but he really is warm!" Zum says. Well T seems very pleased. And it is nice to have a Big Fat Fluffy cat who is your loyal cat on your lap!

Big Ginger Muffin he was very heavy but did keep you so warm!

We Saw Kira

Zum likes quiet dogs. She loves Kira because Kira is quiet and just puts her big tummy next to your leg.
I see many similarities between Huskies and our (probably) Main Coon Cross Thor and Mieszky.
They don't always listen to you (chooses to ignore you sometimes)
and they are just happy sitting by your side , enjoying the silence.
Even though T is s big cat, he is nowhere near as big as a Husky! Mieszky's coloring is similar to Huskies so thats why Zum feels closer to Kira!

Kira comes to say hi to us, then after a while gets bored and goes in the back garden.(ver catlike behavior!)

but when Hiro started crying and Kira comes over, worried. Very similar to our black cats!

I ask Hiro, "Do you like dogs or Huskies?"
Hiro says "I like My Walti." Well, Walti is not a dog but I guess Guardian Angel Cat will always make the cut!

Everything is Just a Bit Better When Walter is Around

It is cold and Walter has been coming to sit with us in the bed in the morning. "Prrr, Prrr, prrr!"
Sometimes he kneads the soft blanket, but ususlly he just sits on the corner of the bed.
It is so nice he comes to see us now, We just spend time sharing the moment. He is bit more bonier but he lets me brush him now so he's got this nice soft hair.
I stroke his head, and he puts his nose on my hand and licks me. What a great start to the day! I love my Walti so much!

8 years old Is When Cats Get Cuddlier and Nicer

​Many people I know say that a “2 year old cat is too old “ when they are looking for cats to adopt, but to us “Crazy Cat Family” this certainly is not true.
Our Himepumpkin was so Nosey and Curious that she would be too busy inventing new nap spots and chasing Pazzy or Walter, or Cookie (Cookie did not see it as play chasing )
I noticed when Hime was around 8 years old, she would come snuggle with us more, and want to come and sit and chill with us more. I got a little worried that Hime was all of the sudden cuddly and attentive...
but then
This is around the time Zum was born. All of the other cats other than Paz and Hime were scared of Baby Zum.
Well, Paz was like "Oh you got one of these too, I've seen these all the time when I go to the neighbors' houses."

Hime probably has never seen babies but she instantly loved Baby Zum. She wanted to be with me and Zum when we were sleeping and wanted to give Baby Zum huggies even when Zum was crying...
so maybe it was because Hime loved Baby Zum that she would come cuddle than running off for adventures. 

She is 15 now, and I notice that she is not climbing as much (this girl climbed on many things like curtains and furniture! ) ,
 

She would be sitting on my lap so casually that I wouldn't even notice that she was there .
 

Hime enjoys spending time with me or Zum , cuddling together. 

But she is still my Smart , Curious Hime, young spirt , always notices if a new thing arrives! 

Being nosey and creative keeps your mind very busy, AND YOUNG...
and you can still have time to cuddle up on someone’s lap too!

Why Mama is Always Nice To Mieszky

Zum says ,
"Why do you baby Mieszky all thr time ?"

I don't play favorites , but Mieszky is an angel, and even when he isnt, he is just really hard to be mad at!

He has a heart of gold so he never bullies anyone.
I was cutting his hair clumps on his fur, and accidentally cut his skin.
He didn't get mad or even hiss at me!

Even when he does something he's not supposed to do , like climb on the table , or try to play with Hime,
I yell at him and ...
He Actually Comes to me!
He says "Rrrghh!"
and sits on my lap !

Who does that? It takes a loving trusting heart and courage to actually go to someone who is mad at you !

Hime The Wise says
"Miesky is annoying when he tries to play with me, but he is good. That's why I lick his head."
(unlike someone who is brown and white...she would not lick his head, thats for sure!)

Hime would know about things like that!

What is She Up To…?

uh, I'm staying out of her way...

but she won't let me pass...

now, does that mean Hime wants to play with me...? "Baaaghhh!" No!!

Super Sense

Walter!!
Walter doesn't usually come to the upstairs bed.
One morning, it was too cold to get out of bed,
and I turned off the alarm and kept on sleeping, not realizing that I had totally overslept.
Walter came and tapped his paw on my face with his claws carefully tucked in.
He wanted to wake me but didn't want to scratch me.

He must've known I usually dont sleep in and came to wake me.
I looked at the watch and woke up just in time,
So we managed to get Zum to school in time!

Walter does have special 6th sense!

They Come Visit

I was telling Zum about one of the girls she knew, when she was little, she was talking to the girl that no one else could see.

Zum says "I see them too."
I was surprised, she told me about scary skeletons in the dark but I didn't know she could see so much.

What even surprised me was that she said that Cookie and Pazzy come visit us.
She did mention Paz before but I didn't know she saw him.

She said "Cookie comes and head butts to Mama to stroke her, but Mama doesn't see her, so Cookie is sad she doesn't get stroked. But she is there. "

I was crying and said,
"I didn't know what Cookie was here, I thought she had gone and we would never see her."

Zum said,
"She comes to see us, and she wishes you could see her."
"I wish I could see her. I didn't know. " I told her.

"No, Cookie and Pazzy come visit.
They know that they were loved so they come visit."

I asked her bit more about what she sees and why she didn't tell us, and she said she did but we didn't believe her.

I asked how Cookie can come visit because she has never lived at this house,
and she was buried at our old house.
That was one of the things that worried me, because I thought that Cookie may have thought we abandoned her by moving here.

Zum said,

"Cookie still can find us because she was loved by us."
and , she says Cookie hangs out on the little cat tree.
She also likes eating off the big raised designer cat bowl we got from Japan this year.

It was wonderful to hear about Cookie and Paz and they are still around.

Zum said, "Pazzy is visiting now."
I asked where he was, and she says
"He's using the litter box!"
I had a vivid flashback of him and just see him now.
He was the prime cat who would be scratching the wall to cover with the invisible litter , and there were dirty paw marks from him covering with air!
Yes that was my Paz, who sometimes did things that made no sense!
But when you are THIS Handsome, sometimes you don't need to be so smart!

Mieszky finds me

Mieszky Comes to find me wherever I am, usually by dawn. When I start waking in the morning I find him snorning nearby.

He's my Mieszk! Snuggles next to my head, or by my foot. Sometimes TT copies him and comes snuggle, but only in the morning, and only when he feels like it!

But with T, only just in the morning! Why, Kechi T??

I don’t trust Her with my tail!

T T was almost snoring on my lap, fast asleep. I love his long , swashy , silky soft tail--which he never lets me touch !

So I swished his long, beautiful tail while he was sleeping ....
and that must've annoyed him in his deep sleep, cuz he started twirling his tail!

"Twirl, twirl, twirl"

Hime was watching me play with his tail , and I put his tail near her and she took the opportunity to sniff it really good.
Then T noticed , in his disturbed sleep , that his tail was close to HIME BOSS and jumped!!!!
Sorry T!!! I know it was a little mean , but you really are hillarious!!

You just cannot trust your lovely tail around Hime Boss!
She may "Bah Baaarrhhh " your beautiful tail!

僕のWalti

​Hiro used to say his favorite cat was Hime. Then it was Mieszky. 

Then has been Walter for about a year now. 

He says 

“Hime is Bean chain’s cat” 

And who is Mieszky ? Well probably mine. 

“Mieszky is Mama’s cat” 

And “Walti is my cat. “ he says. 

Yes Walter most certainly is.

Kitttens and Grown Up Cats

Kittens are just so unfair. 

I mean, LOOK!

They are just so fuzzy , small and cute!

I had to resist very hard and thankfully there were only two boy kittens left.

I told Zum, “well , T may not like the boy kitten when he grows up and Walter may not be happy with another Macho boy cat”. When I get home , our cats come greet me. Yes kittens are awfully cute but do they come when my kids are sad? I would have my Sweet Walter and Loyal Slow T in a heartbeat. It’s the personality that counts. Of course the kittens have personality too but for now, it’s us and our 4 guys. ...Unless there’s a girl cat that needs a home that Hime Boss may not mind…🤪
