You have beautiful eyes! Kind , sweet Mieszky. He comes quietly by my side , and many times is sitting naturally on my lap...

so naturally that I don't even notice that he is there!

Fluffy Walter at our old house.
There were so many bits of leaves on his fur from being in the garden.
He used to give me a "Siff!"
when I used to hold him and try to brush him!

We have salmon and there was no one Prrr Prring in the kitchen on my leg.... I miss him so much.

Macho Paz

There were actual chicken left on the food bowl.

If Paz was here, he'd say,
"What is the matter with you wimps????
That needs to be gobbled up ASAP!"

Zum Drew Walti

The kids were drawing in the garden and so I asked if she could draw our cats. What a great picture Zum drew!!

Mieszky is with us on my lap as usual, even outside!

His drawings are very to the point and he is very good at picking out the characteristics of what he is drawing ... pretty great at this age!

That Time of the Year, T!

He "mew, mew" ed like a kitten, then when he was getting checked, he hissed at the Vet and Me!
T sat on the car seat next to Zum and she fell asleep while stroking him.
So he moved over to the front and sat on my lap again while I was driving.
Aww, I thought you hissed at me earlier!?

He shows his appreciation when he got home, he is such a funny cat.

Mieszky is calm the whole time, he did try to run from the examination table, but he is always quiet in the car.

Everytime I am at the vets I remember how laid back Pazzy was, he would come in in his lead and harness, and lay on the waiting room floor. He even got treats from the receptionist and he was so confident!

Hime at Vets

It was that time of the year.
Hime had to go, and it is usally two cats at a time but since we only have 3 cats , it was Hime on her own.

She said, "Raaaan, Rhaaan' when we put her in the cat cage.
Zum was of course there with her again to comfort.
she had Hime's cage on her lap and stroked her in the car.
Hime was quiet on the way.

Hime was skinnier than last year, and I didn't notice that she had lost many of her teeth.
So I thought I couldn't give her wet food all the time so she didn't put too much stress on her joints, but it turns out she could eat more wet as she didn't have much teeth left.
She was calm even during the injection, and it was time to go home.

I put her in my hoodie to calm Hime when we were paying for the vet. Hime wanted to sit on Zum's lap on the way back.
So she sat on the middle car seat next to Zum and Hiro, and we wrapped her in the blanket.
She was very calm on the way back, no "Raaan, Rhaaan" this time!
Zum said Hime still was nosey and wanted to look out the car window!

She must've gotten used to riding in the car (on the car seat, wrapped in the blanket!) because she was closing her eyes after that! Clever Hime!

Hime is smart! What a special girl she is!

If Walti Balti Was Here

Hiro and I were in John Lewis and saw the sheepskin.
"Walter would like those, he loves kneading."
I told Hiro.
"If he was alive he would be eating a lot!" Hiro says.

I hope he is getting lots of soft sheepskin and chicken.
And when Hiro is crying,
I am sure he is worried from above!
