One Thing We Found Out About Paz Is....

He looks a bit senile but he is Mr Popularity!!!

That Paz is very popular with the neighbors!

When we were looking for Walter when he was missing, we knocked on our neighbors and talked to them about Walter.
So many of them said, "I haven't seen a black fuzzy one, but I always see the big ginger one!"

He seems to go pay them a visit and sometimes gets treats too. And he comes home and eats.That's why he is pregnant with triplets.



Who can resist this Ginger Fusspot??

When I was going around the neighbors he'd trot along, happily, like "Oh are we going for a walk together?"
"No , we are trying to find Walter, Paz, can't you tell me where he is?" I said to him.
The neighbors would come and pet him as he snuggles up to their legs.
Apparently he even lets schoolkids who walk past our road pet him.Who'd thought Paz was such a socialite???

But of course Paz doesn't forget who his mom and dad are!!! Always comes and tries to lie down with his 7 kilo tummy on my lap.

Zumzum the Cat Wisperer

We went to John Peel and his wife Sheila's house and spent the day at the amazing Peel Acres.

Zumzum amazed me.
She made friends with their cat, Mavius IMMEDIATELY.
She went up to Mavius and started giving her HIME HUGGIES, rubbing her cheeks on Mavius' back! And Mavius was purring.
Sheila , amazed and said "that is so sweet!!!"

I was amazed too.
Zumzum must've learnt the HIME HUG from Hime, and figured out that that was the best way to make friends with cats.
Wow.

"Hey Cookie, let me give you HUGGIES!!"

And a little stroke too.

Zumzum comes up to her, and gives her huggies like Hime, rubbing her cheeks on Cookie.
Zumzum already knows , if she stretches out her hand, sometimes it scares the cats. But if rub your cheek on them, they don't mind. Zum learnt it from Hime.
Cookie is starting to become close to Zum.

Appreciation

Walter was lost for three days. 

I knew that Walter who loves his food and warm fuzzy blanket to knead on, he wasn't the venturing type.

I knew he wanted to come home but somehow couldn't. 

We went looking for him, asked our neighbors, looked in trees, no Walter.

I was so worried he was stuck somewhere and what if he starved if we couldn't find him in time?

We have five cats and a child. You may think one cat missing out of five it's not a big deal. But Walter was gone, and it was like there was a big hole in our lives. The kitchen was quiet. There was a piece of chicken left on the floor and no one came with his pointy nose to snatch it up. 

The house seemed quiet. I missed Walter so much. He is so unique that I wouldn't find another cat like him. 

I couldn't concentrate on anything else. I made flyers and Shane put them up. We could only pray that someone finds him in their garden, or shed and contact us.
That night, I looked out the patio door and THERE HE WAS!!!!!!

He rushed in, and he gobbled up 3 packs of wet food. And while he was eating, he kept on jumping up to rub his head on my hand (we call it Walter Hi Five)  so many times that food was coming out of his mouth. He was so hungry and so happy to see us. 

He looked skinny. His coat was little bit dirty but not manky. He went upstairs and slept. 

I went to stroke him and he actually purred the whole time. 

He really did want to come home. And now he was home he was tolerating bit of stroking and fussing more than usual!

Hime went to lick him. Mieszky jumped on him and got growled. 

I told Zumzum that Kuroi Pazzy (Black Pazzy) is back. 

I realized we were the ones who didn't appreciate him, not Walter.
He came back and I'm so happy. Our lives are complete again.

Her Second Word

Is "Pazzy"!
Can you believe it!?
I noticed Zumzum saying that around end of January.
She started saying, "Paaa- Zzy" , I thought it was an accident, but somehow she started associating the word with the Puffin man.
Generally she uses "Pazzy " to mean "cats".
When she sees the cats outside the window, she says "Paaazy!"
What cute pronouciation she has!!
