Norwegian Forest Cats look like Lynx, have thick coats that protect them from the severe cold Norway weather, they have strong claws that lets them climb rocks!
Wow! Don't they sound so strong?!
I thought, "what if he is the total dominating macho-man type, beating up Walter and Pazzy, the two boys of this house??"
He previously lived with 2 girl bengal cats.
He also had a sister who chewed his tail when they were kittens so he has a shorter tail than a normal Norwegian Forest Cat. Poor boy!
Maybe that's how he is in touch with his feminine side? His name "Jay-Jay" is a little too fitting for this boy!!
Shane said,
"You always get to pick the names so I'm going to give him a cool name!"
I got no problem with that, as long as it's a good name!
When a cat shows his stomach, it means his defenses are all down, completely trusts you, or is inviting to play (and swipppppe in our cats cases!).
In this boy's case, he loves his tummy stroked and he NEVER, EVER swipes!
And no, he isn't dead, he is sleeping!!
Hahahahaha!
Anybody who sleeps like that, is a trusting, undefensive cat who has a no bad bone in his body!

He quickly adjusted to the family.
The other guys did the usual growling at first, but they soon discovered what a big softie he was!
Plus they were all getting used to adapting a new member into the family by now!!
But what to do about his name?
We wanted to name him something special.
After going through couple of more names, we finally decided to name him "Mieszko" in honor of my husband's friend, who is no longer with us.
He is the reason why we are together and we have this family, so it seemed very fitting.
Which is unusual for a cat, cuz cats usually only pay attention to you whenever they feel like it! Hahaha!
Mieszky has dog-like qualities, loyal and always there for you!
