Cookie Too!

Cookie is very picky when it comes to food but appreciates green tea!

 I was on a roll when I was in Japan!

After Skachan visited me in my dream, maybe a week later,
Cookie visited me in my dream too.


She was sitting on my lap, and I was stroking her beautiful long limbs , her silky soft hair.

I remember her looking at me approvingly and every time I stroked her head, she'd say, "Eghhh!" to show her appreciation.

We both knew she was just visiting, and it wasn't forever, but it was a peaceful, lovely time we got to spend together.







Zum says Cookie is there with Skachan in her Ojichan and Obachan's garden. Skachan's grave is there so it is connected to Heaven where they both hang out.


When I woke up I told Zum that Cookie came to visit me in the dream.
She said that Cookie is there with Skachan and they are both in Tengoku.
I hope there is gourmet food there for the two picky Miss Gourmet Cats!!

Skachan Came to Visit Me

When we were in Japan last month, skachan visited me in my dream for the first time since she passed away.

Maybe she couldn't reach me because I was in UK and her After-Life Powers couldn't reach that far.
Anyway, that day when we were sleeping in my old bedroom in my parents' house, I vividly saw Skachan in my dream. I saw her like I remembered her, and she came to me, all cool like she always was, and I said, "Skachan, there you are ". We both knew it was temporary and it was on gifted time. It's ok, because when I woke up it finally got my closure on Skachan passing away.
Now every time we are in Japan, she is there under the Matsu tree, watching over us, and I can talk to her. Thank you for visiting me and Zumzum .

Happy 9th Birthday, Mieszky!

Today was Mieszky's birthday.
I never looked at his paperwork from his previous owner so I knew his birthday was mid March but always missed it!
But I checked this year and put it in my calendar!

I thought he was a bit grown up when we got him (1 1/2 years old)...  but he was really, young!
And to think he's been with us for 7 1/2 years, is amazing. It's a long time but at the same time, how did we live without this sweet guy before??

Mirezky is young as ever, he's jumping around with Thor, even steals food from Walter and Thor. When he play fights with Thor he kicks his head like soccer ball!!

But he still comes sit on my lap when I'm by myself and tells me he he doesn't forget about me. Mieszk is so loyal.

Birthday Paz

Paz turned 9 !!!

Has he gotten wiser with age? ... maybe a teeny bit since Thor came.

Nicer? .... nope, still tries to hit all the other guys.

Loving.... yes, he is so loving and cuddly with us!


He's growing triplets again,

And last couple of years he lets me rub his tummy without swiiiiipe ! 

He answers when I call him outside, he comes out from under his bush! 

He loves to cuddle on you when he comes in , he will keep you warm!!

It's Hard to Be The New One

 Thor has been in our family for 3 months now, and he and Pazzy still don't get along. Pazzy hit him couple of times just like he does with everyone, and Thor KICKED HIS BUTT!
So Pazzy feels threatened, and for the first time ever, The Bully is OUTBULLIED!
Walter didn't like him either, after Thor tried to wrestle with him couple of times, then got chased.
But for now, Walter is mostly OK with Thor.

It must be hard fitting into a cat society of 4 cats. It would be hard for humans to go into an already established group.
I think it took about a year and a half for Cookie to really feel at home too. She liked Walter and Mieszky, and all the humans of course, but thought Paz and Hime were mean.
I took this picture last September, and I think she finally felt like even The Bully was her family, everyone sort of hung out together when they were outside in front of our house.

Amazing Thing Zum Told Me 2

18months old 

So Zum was telling me that she was "In Mama's tummy".

I was astonished, and from that day, she would tell me more. 

She told me again "Baby Zumi in Mama's tummy." 

And when I asked her what she was doing, this time, she said, "Gonyo Gonyo Gonyo" and wiggled. I think she was trying to tell me that she was wiggling. Isn't that crazy!

About two weeks after that, we were driving back from school, and I told her we were going to take Walter to "Byoin" . (Hospital= Vets)

She understood about it, and she told me that Cookie went there. She remembers going to the vets with Cookie when Cookie was sick. 

Then she said, "Baby Zumi, Byoin". I don't know if this is a memory from when we took her to checkups to the local surgery, but then she said,

"Baby Zumi, Mama, Papa, Byoin".

Could this be when she was being born????

19 months old

I wanted to get more details, but then she went on to other topics. 

Many people seem to think that because babies can't talk, they don't really have any memories, but, THEY DO!!! It has been amazing, especially now that she can talk and tell me what goes on in her fascinating mind!

20 months old

And yes, we took Walter to the vets and she and Walter both behaved, and on the way back, Zumi said, 「Walter病院、あー楽しかった！」（she had good time taking Walter to the vets)
Well, Walter would tell you different.

Amazing Thing That Zumzum Told me

I heard that children could remember.... Zumzum started telling me on the way to school last Thursday that "Zumi , mama Tummy." I didn't know if she meant , "On" or "In" the tummy because sometimes she would sleep on top of me. But when she told me again a day later, I asked her if it was "中" or "上" (inside, or on top of) , and she said "IN".

She then told me she was sleeping there!

So today, she all of the sudden started talking about it, and I got it on camera!
