How to Get Your Cat to Be Nice To You

It`s a well-known fact that cats are temperamental.

Like women.

They want attention sometimes, then they go off and do their own thing.

That`s the great thing about cats , they are independent, but

kind of sad when you want affection from them but they don`t want to give you any....

I found a GREAT way to get affection from cats...

TURN THE HEATING OFF!

When I`m sitting, they are unusually keen to sleep on my lap...

ohhhh... warm on human lap, ain`t it????

bit crowded, though... Aslan kicks Hime, waking her up....

I`m over the moon when I do get their affection, IT`S WORTH MORE!

That`s the magic of cats!!

Save energy, get some lovin from your fuzz ones!
That`s what I call killing two birds with one stone, or.....
more like "getting two cats with one stone!"

A Women`s Right!

Once again, here`s Princess Hime on her royal throne, The Royal Egg Cup.
Where she sits and rules her empire during the day.
(it`s a bit squashed from being loved so much! Luckiest Egg Cup in the world!)

She loves stuffed animals.
Well, sitting on them, at least!

She looooves getting flowers. She`ll sniff them out, even eat them sometimes.
Make sure you send her some for Valentine`s Day!

This is her favorite.

My fluffy new boots.
Of course she loves shoes! She`s a woman!!
She usually just uses them to sharpen her nails, but these are special.
We`ve got same taste, apparently!
She makes me proud.....

Ummmm, Hime, can I wear my new boots now?
Oh, sorry ! You were taking a nap... Ok,I just won`t wear them today....
I`m sorry, Your Majesty.

No? I can`t wear the boots today either?

She generously gave the radiator bed to Aslan though, kept the boots (mine, actually) for herself.
Now they have a bunk bed!
I guess I will just have to buy another pair of boots.....!

Happiness is just around the corner (in the kitchen)

Bowls aren`t just for goldfishes....

.... our wise Hime goes to The Bowl for meditation time!

Even when she was a teeny kitten, Princess was easy to please. No Marie-Antoinette here!

A.K.A. "Bag Kitty" .... first princess to live in a bag!

beats the mighty ....

How "Intruder" became family

"GRRRRRRRRR! That`s my Living Room, fool!"

Hime didn`t like Aslan at all.
She followed him around, growling. Making sure he didn`t touch any of her stuff.
After all, she was the Princess of this household, worshipped , never had to share with anybody.

So when Hime refused him for 3 days, all the Hime worshippers (the humans in the house) was thinking,
"welll,,,,, maybe it is not working out, if our Princess is unhappy, he may have to go back"

But he is a bit fun to play hide-and-seek with.....

And he does have romantic eyes.....

One morning, I woke to find Hime sitting in the kitchen with Aslan, not growling.
It was if he had always lived with us.

We have been a family since.

The cat rescue people did say, it does take a couple of weeks for the first cat to take in the new cat. The new cat scent is different. But after a while, the new cat will start to smell the same, (in our case 4days) and they will start to accept each other.

So... I guess it means if you spend 4 days with anybody, cat or human, they become your family!!!

Cat garbage disposal

Aslan eats ANYTHING 247, from salads to rice, I even caught him lapping up used vegetable oil....
It`s handy having him around the kitchen, if I spill something, I just put Aslan there, and voila! It`s clean!!
Eating and no2-ing is what he does best!



Yawns like a sea lion after bit of garbage disposal action .....



but......... Can`t hang with the big dogs just yet!!!!!

awwww. Only just a baby after all!
