Pazzy's Vacation

When we are away, we have been sending Thor to Uncle Danny's so Pazzy would have the run of the house and outside.

After almost a day , Paz understood that his arch nemesis was gone (for now)!

We had a holiday so Paz had T free house for a week!

He's enjoying his nap time with the doors open ..

Awwww look at that great Tummy...

He's REALLY stretching...

He even let me stroke his belly!

He even took it outside!

If he kept his respectable distance and not annoy Hime, they did not annoy each other.

On the other hand, Thor seemed to be semi-enjoying being an only cat at Uncle D's. 

He'd follow Danny and Johhnny around the house and sleep on the couch.

But Danny told us after couple of days, T seems to be missing us. 

He'd be going around the house , "Meeeeoooh, Meeeeoooohh!"

Poor T! He did know our house was his home!

And so Pazzy's summer "T-Free vacation " ended and Thor came home. But Paz knows and trusts me that I keep him safe.  

Lost and Found Pazzy

Pazzy was gone for four days.

I was getting really worried that he left us or something happened to him.

I went out and called him .... and no Pazzy. 
He'd usually come out from under the bush or on top of a fence , saying, "Raaaahhhhh". 

I regretted the tough times he had because I didn't shut the door and Thor came in and attacked him. 
Yes, Thor is not 100% at fault because Paz hits everybody, but I should have been more careful to protect him. 
I thought, maybe he thought he had enough and he left. Or he always came back even though he had hard time with Thor, so maybe he was somewhere and stuck. Or locked in. Or worse.....

The fifth day, when I made up my mind to make flyers to try to find him, he came out from our front bushes saying, "rarhhhh" , just like always. 

Paz is so happy to see us when we come home!

He knew that this was his home, even though he had hardships and he has other friends in the neighbourhood. 

I was so grateful to hear his "Meeeeowww"s and "Rarhhhhh"s and to see his handsome beautiful ginger fur. 
He purred and was very happy to see me!!

He looked a bit thinner
 (the triplets he had in his tummy had slimmed down to looking 5 months pregnant ) , 
but when I gave him wet food he didn't seem that hungry. 

Come on, 
you know you want to stroke my soft tummy!

Maybe he had breakfast somewhere on the way home at one of our neighbor's house. 

 

Just like when Walter was missing for couple of days, I knew, then, 
that Pazzy was trapped or some reason couldn't get home, but wanted to come home!

I'm a bit cold from being drenched...

Do you mind if I get warm on your lap, please?

I missed this fool so much!
Yes, he hits all the other guys, but he is always there for us, and always wants to come with us when we go to the library, or post office... coming to greet us when we come back in the car.

He is back sitting at this favorite place, the front of the house on top of the garbage bins on sunny days.

He comes in from outside, and he (and his big fat body) wants to sit on my lap, for some fuss and warmth. He is ESPECIALLY keen when he's drenched from the rain.... uhhh, thanks, but no thanks?

Oooh Pazzy, you are such a character! 

And he knows, we missed him so much !

Walter says, "stop bothering me in my quiet sunny space! "


 

Well Thor, the times you pounced on him to fight or to play, he doesn't want you around!

Thor has been making advances to try to extend the olive branch with Walter, he tries to rub his cheeks on him and sniff him when I am stroking Walter .., it's adorable but when you've been the Bully for a while it's hard to turn that around.

Thor is like that little kid that has no friends because he doesn't know how to make friends, he is mean to other kids... but really, he wants to be friends. Well, good thing he's got Mieszk who has no bad bone in his body, and likes and plays with everyone. 

Thor is Very Pleased With Himself

Thor is not a very climbing, jumping kind of a cat. This is why I don't think he is more part Maine Coon than Norwegian Forest Cat. Mieszky on the other hand, is very great at climbing things, he's a great jumper, typical Norwegian Forest Cat.. 

So it took T almost a year to discover the Big Cat Tree. He started lying at the top day before yesterday, and he spent all day lying on the top. 

Oh T, you are so late in catching on with the trend! 

I don't think Walter is very happy having him so close to his saucer though.

No chance Paz will let him climb up there and be close to him!

Cookie Too!

Cookie is very picky when it comes to food but appreciates green tea!

 I was on a roll when I was in Japan!

After Skachan visited me in my dream, maybe a week later,
Cookie visited me in my dream too.


She was sitting on my lap, and I was stroking her beautiful long limbs , her silky soft hair.

I remember her looking at me approvingly and every time I stroked her head, she'd say, "Eghhh!" to show her appreciation.

We both knew she was just visiting, and it wasn't forever, but it was a peaceful, lovely time we got to spend together.







Zum says Cookie is there with Skachan in her Ojichan and Obachan's garden. Skachan's grave is there so it is connected to Heaven where they both hang out.


When I woke up I told Zum that Cookie came to visit me in the dream.
She said that Cookie is there with Skachan and they are both in Tengoku.
I hope there is gourmet food there for the two picky Miss Gourmet Cats!!

Skachan Came to Visit Me

When we were in Japan last month, skachan visited me in my dream for the first time since she passed away.

Maybe she couldn't reach me because I was in UK and her After-Life Powers couldn't reach that far.
Anyway, that day when we were sleeping in my old bedroom in my parents' house, I vividly saw Skachan in my dream. I saw her like I remembered her, and she came to me, all cool like she always was, and I said, "Skachan, there you are ". We both knew it was temporary and it was on gifted time. It's ok, because when I woke up it finally got my closure on Skachan passing away.
Now every time we are in Japan, she is there under the Matsu tree, watching over us, and I can talk to her. Thank you for visiting me and Zumzum .

Happy 9th Birthday, Mieszky!

Today was Mieszky's birthday.
I never looked at his paperwork from his previous owner so I knew his birthday was mid March but always missed it!
But I checked this year and put it in my calendar!

I thought he was a bit grown up when we got him (1 1/2 years old)...  but he was really, young!
And to think he's been with us for 7 1/2 years, is amazing. It's a long time but at the same time, how did we live without this sweet guy before??

Mirezky is young as ever, he's jumping around with Thor, even steals food from Walter and Thor. When he play fights with Thor he kicks his head like soccer ball!!

But he still comes sit on my lap when I'm by myself and tells me he he doesn't forget about me. Mieszk is so loyal.
