Zumzum's Second Word

It was amazing when Zumzum started saying words.
She first started saying "Ba!", which is "Peek-a-boo" in Japanese, she learned that word from her fist favorite book. Then, around January 2015 she started saying "Pa-zzy!"
"Pa-zzy" pointed to of course our big ginger flufball, Pazzy , but she still uses it to mean "cats" in general.
Who'd thought, Pazzy would have been her second word!?

Ladies Man Wah-Wah

Walter has special bond with girls.

He doesn't like males .

Paz, he's such a big bully decides to hit everyone if he feels like it. Best to avoid.

Mieszk, he thinks he's so fluffy, but he's not as cute as ME and he's incessantly trying to play with me.., how annoying !

Other outside cats who come in the garden and spray.. ("I MUST protect my property.., by making loud noises and running away...")

Walter and Hime.
They play fight , he plays soft with her, then she ends up licking him. Because Walter is Hime's baby brother. Awwwwww.

Walter and Zum. Walter will come to her when Zumzum is sad. Walter knows he's really Zum's big brother. Zumzum is the only person he ever shows concern for, so that's really saying something!

Complex Relationships

Come up when you're finding place to sleep...
Walter and Hime love eachother.

Cookie will come sit with Mieszky and Hime if Hime is at safe (non-swiping) distance.

Very rare, Hime came to sit when Cookie is sleeping on me. Cookie not super happy about it but Hime is behaving under supervision.

But you know Cookie is the most comfortable with her favorite brother, Mieszky!

Dudu to the rescue

Zum was crying and sure enough
Walter gets up from his special spot of zum's changing table
And comes over.

"I will come sit with you if you are sad, you're the only one in the world I will do this for."

Then he settles down and starts kneading on the pillow and goes to sleep.

These are the times when you think,

Five cats aren't that many at all, is it?
I mean , they take up so little space !
And they're self-sufficient (mostly , minus the cleaning up occasional throw up and litter box ) !

Disco Nap for New Year's Eve

Zumzum had exciting couple of days. She's so excited at night she tells me about her day when it's bedtime ...
Tonight she's preparing for New Years by napping at 5pm... Oh well.
Mieszky has his mega Gandalf coat he's going out in our yard.
Hime Onechan watches over Zumzum.
