Made Their Peace 2

.... Yes Girls, I always thought you guys had a lot in common.
Mieszky don't like too warm places,
Walter likes his alone space in the cat saucer.
Paz, well, is a bully.
But you guys, you love soft fuzzy things, and you also love to sleep with Mom and Zum too. It's about time you guys got along.

Made Their Peace

Cookie and Hime.
They have made their peace with one another?
Isn't it so nice when there's no chasing around or swiping??
They can sit and enjoy the peace!

How'd She Get In?

There was a lot of "Yeeollll!!! " and running this morning!
I came downstairs, and Walter and Pazzy were growling. A cat who I haven't seen ran off and she was gone.
I don't know how she got in through the cat fence, and she obviously came in through the cat flap, to be found by two boy cats that is very protective over their house.

I went to clean the litter box and there she was!!!!


She was scared but she did not resist when I gently picked her up. I tried to get her to the front door and then Paz spotted her and chased her upstairs.
She went into the upstairs room and crouched in the corner. I told Zumzum there was a Pazy upstairs, and she came to see, and said "Awwwww Kawaiiiiiii!"
I opened the window and she jumped off outside.

I thought that was the last time I saw her,
and then next day, at night, there was growling and running in the backyard.
I went to look and she jumped in our backyard !!!!!
Of course Paz and Walter got upset and chased her, and she tried to climb out the cat fence, and couldn't. I opened the gate and she was hanging off the fence, and jumped and ran outside.... Pazzy following her.....

 Why did she come back??? She must be someone's cat to have the nice fur, and know how to use the catflap.
But two days in a row???
My only theory is that she must be REALLY nosey, HIME class nosey.
Cute cat.

Everyone's All Good... Plus Another One!!

Here's what the guys have been up to this winter.... loving the new cardboard kingsize bed.

.....And a new surprise came just in time for Xmas!

Zumzum!

Hime loves her already and gives her huggies. Thanks for being a great big sister, Hime.

She will show Zum the art of MISCHIEF, for sure!

Hime & Co just keeps getting better!

Walter's New Hierarchy

My friend Dennis who has 8 cats says in his cat's Hierarchy, all the girls are the strongest, then the boys, and his Norwegian Forest Cat comes last because he is so laid back. 

Turns out, Walter is the one who is deciding the Hierarchy in our house.

It used to be

HIME

ASLAN

WALTER

Mieszko

....therefore Walter can smack Mieszky if he feels crabby or wants to shove him out of the way.

Now,

what happens when a new cat, who is 

younger, much younger than him comes into the mix?

Cookie Dough is only two, where Walter is four years old, everyone else is pretty much about five.

Wouldn't it be natural for Cookie Dough to be at the bottom of the pyramid??

Well, 

Walterman has made his decision pretty much the day Cookie Dough came into the house,

he was very intrigued with her, and always had some kind of respect towards her.

I'm Intrigued by Cookie Dough!! 

so here's our cat Hierarchy according to Walter:

See, Walter respects Cookie Dough!!

maybe it is because she is a girl.

maybe because she is from the HOOD, an ex-street cat (she is not mean in any sort of way though).

But the new Hierarchy it is. 

Mieszky, being pushed to the fifth in line, he doesn't mind , as usual.

He loves everybody.

And what matters is that all the women in the house love him too! 

Sometimes the two girls can co-exist if Hime doesn't try to pounce on her!

It takes men longer ...

Women love shopping.

That's because we love new things, things that are new, anything different is interesting!

I like shopping and so does my mom,and our Princess of Mischief too.

New things must stimulate some part in our female brain

that we just get high!!!

First one on my new bag!

Men (in my house) don't like new things.

They'd rather have things that they know work,
have worked for them in the past,

never mind new things!!!

Our Hime Pumpkin loves anything new!

If something new comes into the house,
she'd be the first one to notice it, stick her paws in it,
 sit in it.

That's the one thing that sets her apart from everyone else:

The rest of the guys = men , will not try anything new out straightaway.

"if it ain't broke, why fix it?" is their policy.

This is the famous Radiator bed, which Hime and Aslan used to love back at the old house.

Since we moved house, Aslan completely ignored it, only Hime went in the bed Once every six months.....

Then , out of the blue....

Big ginger football Aslan resting on it!

It's pretty nice isn't, it, especially because Aslan has been putting the Winter Weight on!!!

His chubby tummy doesn't have to squash for him to sit in it!

...........Re-discovered after 3 years.

Mieszko, would never go on the radiator bed too,

but he goes in it for the first time EVER, inspired after seeing Aslan going in it!!!!

Hime's like,

"What is up with these guys? I've known about this spot for AGES!!!!"

This is our fluffy cushion we got from Ikea,

we call it The Walter Cushion

because the fluffy fur on the cushion feels like Walter.

Only person who loved it straightaway and started kneading on it was Hime.

Mieszky is on a roll of rediscovering ....

Miszky gets on it for the first time , sleeps on it every day now.

We've had the Walter Cushion for two years!!!

That boy's been missing out!

Look how happy he is! Awwwwwwwww.

Goes to show,

" Don't knock it till you've tried it!!! "

A lesson for all of us.

Be curious, creative, try something new. Like Hime!
