Everybody Loves Cat Tree

Everybody just hung out here all the time,

Especially in the winter when it was cold and the heating would kick in from under the cat tree.

 

Paz would always be in the saucer, the saucer is perfect for a chubby cat 🤣

My New Scarf

Do you like my new scarf?

She is black and matches everything. 

She will move her head up and down while she is wrapped up on your neck so your face is nice and warm too.

Hime is a cheek warmer for Zum another day...

My BFF! And Zum’s BFF too!

Hime was special from even when she was a tiny kitten. Some people (or cats) just got that spark.

T Gets Mad At Me

No one likes Flea treatments on their neck. 

Hime, she senses everyone getting caught and being  treated, immediately runs away before I get a chance to catch her. 

Good old Paz don’t care, he’d just get back to normal, no hissing, no biting, no getting traumatized at all. 

But T , “Mr I Am A Bully “ is a big wimp once again. 

He tries but can’t run away because he’s slow!

So I catch him and put the treatment on his neck, and instantly he’s traumatized!

He runs off from me, saying 

“Mama’s being mean to me”

And tries to run outside. 

I try to stroke him and tell him it’s ok, 

He Won’t let me pet him!!

I try again and he slithers away. 

AWW! Kechi T!

He goes outside to get away from Mean Mama!

I was finally forgiven when it started to rain and I let him in. 

He let me stroke his wet coat!

Back to being Loyal T. 

Sits next to me and taps his tail. 

Hana Pisha!

OMG isn’t he just the Cutest?! It must be a Walter Superpower to have a Juicy , Wet Pointy , Nose. He uses it for finding bits of food, And when someone is crying, he’ll offer to Hana Pisha! (Would you like me to stick my wet nose on your hand or feet to make you feel better?)

Walter is the Guardian Angel with the wet nose. Hiro tells me "Walti, Hana Pisha". Yes he most definitely is!

Zum says, “ why is it always wet?” I don’t know! Must be Walter Superpower. But it makes someone who is crying laugh when the wet cold nose tickles your feet! He will sometimes lick you too. Aww Walter!!

Mieszky Naps

Zum asked me when she was 5,

“Guess who my favorite cat is right now!” 

I asked her who, it was usually Hime, and sometimes Thor.

She says , “ it’s Mieszky! He sleeps under my bed every day” and she hugs Mieszky who was sitting by us. (He has a quiet way of being with us naturally like air)

So he used to sleep under her bed and I asked if his snoring kept her up but she said “no he snores and purrs too but I don’t mind.” 

Mieszky snores when he sleeps because he has a stuffy nostril. 

But it’s comforting when he’s there. 

Zum said she missed him when he was missing and told me how nice it was to have him sleep under her bed.

She also told me when I was at the cinema with my mom friend a year ago, all the cats were under her bed! 

How unusual and cool ! 

They Are Nearer to Us

This person was talking about how he felt his mother who passed away, she seemed to be there with him more after she passed. 

 He says she pops up in his dreams and its like she never left, and he feels that if he goes back to his parents' house she's still there. When our loved ones passes away, they just seem like they are watching us from closeby. 

 A day later I had this vivid dream about Paz. He was on his one of his vacations and he was just living with this lady nearby. 

So he just pops back to our house to say hello. "Oh, you were there the whole time!" I said to him and he comes to me and he is nice and fat like a marshmallow man. Obviously he is being fed very well by this lady, and probably some other neighbors ! So it seemed like he was really near and he was well, and back to his big, cheeky Ginger self!

 I had the dream and woke up kind of happy. Then remembered he had passed away. 

That day, Zum and I were walking down the shortcut , and I thought about how Pazzy used to follow us, and the dream, and I missed him so much. I told Zum I missed him and I wished he was with us, on our walks together. 

 She said to me, 

"Well he just may be with us walking down the shortcut now!" and pats my hand. 

... Clever girl, isn't she?

Slowpoke T

When I call T, he trods over, never RUNNING, it looks like a bear trying to walk fast. I don't think I've ever seen this guy really run , because when he tries to escape from me I can 100% catch him! (Could not do that with Mieszky, Cookie, or Hime!

T was meowing outside to be let in. I opened the door and saw this little mouse...who had already gone to heaven . How does someone so slow catch a mouse? poor mousey . Well, nice of him to bring me the mouse, it is a nice gesture of kindness, like "I know you can't catch mice yourself, so I got you one, thanks for all that you do for me" One thing T is, is that he is very grateful. Maybe its because he almost got put down by his previous owner. Maybe because he is unpopular. Or he just is!

It was very nice of him but I didn't want to pick the poor mousey up , so the mouset present was left by the back door. couple of hours later the mousey vanished, I think the magpie picked him up. Well....the circle of life goes on, and I am glad mousey's life was not wasted!
