Hime Came To See Me

There was a black cat sitting on my lap.

She was short
(shorter than long Indie)
and she did a big Roll on my lap with her legs curled up and her arms stretched,
and she looked at me.
It was HIME!!!

She had the proud Hime look on her face when she is discovering new things, doing mischievious things , she would say, "Hey look at me, I'm so creative! "

I said to Shane in my dream,
"Look! It's Hime! She's doing her roll! "

It's the first time she ever came to me in my dream.
She looked very excited like she normally does when her mind is thinking.
Like that time we got that 300 yen scratching post from Japan.
She instantly went on it, and did not even hesitate to scratch it!
Like when she scratched my £250 soft sheepskin leather jacket!!!!



It's so great to see you Hime!
And you still have that mischief proud look on her face!

Mani turning into Fierce Shrimp

He is not your typical softie, he is actually very strong like a dwarf! If you pick him up without his approval, he curls up his short wide torso to get his bunny feet into your arms and KICK YOU !!!! Mani Mani. Softie and Vicious, how could the two exist??

Butterscotch Frankie

Sometimes she blends in with the fallen leaves on the ground,
sometimes she looks like a butterscotch brownie!

Frankie is so cute when she is sleeping!

We were telling her our wish for the kids to get a medal today,
and lo, and behold!...she listened!!
She does hear you, when she really wants to!

Mieszky New Year Morning

My Mieszky with me on

what a great start of the year. Full of Love.

T is more like Loki than Thor

We have and had with us many cats but
is there a cat more cunning ,
calculating,
yet trouble causing than T??

When I was reading the Norse Folk Tales, Loki is EXACTLY that!!

yes he LOOKS the part, handsome , strong and looks like your typical Norse God!!

But he is loyal friend to us humans and he makes up for all of his Loki-ness!!

When You Can Enjoy the Silence With Someone

That's when you know when you have a special bond.
Indie and TT Oniichan.

They don't do this with just anybody,
it's from the years of trust Indie earned with TT Oniichan by respecting his space.

not playing with his tail(even though she was a kitten) ,
and Playing with TT Oniichan when he feels like it.


Only the chosen few. For T anyway.

Guru Guru Time is a Special Time

One thing about Indie is that she is very shy but also very loving.

When it is calm and quiet, Indie comes and sits next to me, or on my left leg for Guru Guru time.

It is a priviledge because she will only come and sit next to you , only if she likes you, and if it is calm.

Guru Guru time usually happens around 6 am or 2pm when it is quiet and no one is stomping around.
She will be there without me knowing that she was sitting next to me, and we enjoy the quietness together.

Sometimes her brothers can join, TT, Mieszky, or Mani.
and I don't think I can remember Guru guru time with Indie and Frankie together by me yet!

Double Knead!

It must have been a miracle for T
to actually like another boy cat.

And they were best friends!

Mieszky is such an angel ,
he was a buddy to everybody.

Who Could Possibly Not Like Me?

When you are born looking soft and delicious ,

you naturally have high self-esteem.

All of the cats in our house hissed at Mani but he did not seem to take notice .

Tough and Marshmallow-y!

I had a dream about a cat who came on my lap,
he was very chubby and strong, and I was stroking him.

I thought it was T or Mani, but when I looked down, he was beautiful marbled Orange and White!!!

It was PAZ!!!

He was chubby and muscular like he usually is in autumn and spring!
He sat on my lap and I was stroking his chubby and muscular body.

I think he came to tell me that he is ok, and doing well doing Pazzy thing.

Or maybe to say how the tables have turned and now T is the one getting annoyed by the strong young cat in the family?

(Mani is not as annoying as T was to Paz)

Or maybe he is telling me that Mieszky is now over there with him, his Best Friend Mieszk who is also my best friend, and T's best friend?!

Being Able to Take Walks Is Not Normal!

So our Paz who was like a big lion , he used to march around the neighborhood like a prince that he was.
He would follow us and trot next to me
and want to go all the way to the post office or the library.

So I thought, yes maybe we can take our Princess Dragon Lady Frankie out too and because there's snow on the ground, she won't run off, and we will have a nice time!

NOOOO! She freaked out over the snow (even though she had been in the snow outside in our back yard) , and ran into the bushes.

When we went to her, she said, "Kew."
like she was glad to see us.

But when Zum grabbed her and passed her down to me,
she kicked me with her muffin paws and growled at me!
(she did not kick as hard as she normally do, I think she was glad to go home) !

I had a long conversation with a stranger about you !

I bought a black cat plate that reminded me of you and told the person who was selling it about my BFF Hime.

She told me about her special friend who was her cat too and we got talking .

It was great experience having a bond with a person you never met, just this conncection about our best friend who was a cat. Thank you Hime from the Heavens! And of course Mieszky who was like he was an Angel.

Mani Soft but Tough

Mani is a soft big teddy bear.
He is loving and likes to come for a cuddle.
You think, well he is such a softie, he will let me clean his butt.

NOOOO! Scratched me with his strong tough hind legs!!!

He seemed ok after he quickly dried himself off,
he does not hold grudges, and back to being a soft teddy bear....

Like Hime Onechan

Indie looks beautiful against the full moon . This is 7:30 am though!

Indie is shy, but when I wake up she is on my lap ,
small and warm , like Hime used to.
Indie is also wise and a great friend like Hime.

Mieszky and baby Hiro !

TT Oniichan and Indie 's Bond

I don't know how, but Indie and T still have a special bond.

Indie has always been a very respectful kitten,
she wanted to play with TT Oniichan's tail...
but she did not want him to be mad at her
so she managed to restrain, and showing respect to her big brother.

T, who was hated by most of our cats,

would play with Indie and Mieszky.

Now that Mieszky is in heaven,
the only person T plays with is Indie.

Mani, who is a different softie to Mieszky, wants to play with everyone.
T hates Mani, a new male in the house is not good news for T....

Indie makes sure she pays attention to T,
she sometimes plays with Mani,
but she puts her loyalty to TT Oniichan.

T and Indie, totally differnt, but special friends.
